Step into the shoes of Roald Dahl this summer through a creative writing intensive salon designed for younger elementary-age students! During this week-long program, students will be able to engage in exciting and rewarding creative writing workshops, putting on multiple writerly hats. Students will take on roles of novelists and poets to compose their own creative pieces, looking at short stories and excerpts from novels as a basis to broaden their imagination. The program will be designed to allow students to grow and express their creativity through exercises on crafting original plots, imagining compelling characters, and creating a well-rounded story. Students will come out of the program with their original finished short story in various forms, including comic books, chapter books, and more. The possibilities are endless.
